Shriners Hospitals for Children® is a health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Every year, Shriners Hospitals for Children® provides care for thousands of kids with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate, in a family-centered environment regardless of the patients’ ability to pay. It's how Shriners Hospitals for Children® has been Changing the World through Caring for Kids since 1922. Click here to check out their site. March 19th 2011 Rivertown Bluegrass Society Inc. will hold it's first annual concert for improving the lives of children to raise money for the Shriners Hospital for Children. This Benefit/concert will be held at the Conway high school auditorium. the auditorium will seat 950 people. Advanced tickets and reserved seating is available. Tickets are $25.00 general admission for RBS and Shriner' members. $30.00 for reserved seating for RBS and Shriners' members. Prof of membership will be required. All others will be $27.00 for general admission and $32.00 for reserved seating. All tickets will be sold on a first come first served basses. Net proceeds will benefit the Shriners' Hospital for Children and Rivertown Bluegrass Society Inc. We have three of the best bands in Bluegrass music performing for the benifit/concert. The bands will Be Lonesome River Band, Grasstowne, and The Wilson Family. Each band will perform two sets each. Doors will open at 1pm and concert will start at 2pm and go till 10pm.
