Starting July 17th we will be offering the following work shops Banjo, Guitar, Mandolin, and Bass. These workshops are designed to promote and teach basic bluegrass music. These workshops are free to anyone with a concert ticket who wants to participate. Workshops will be held at the Horry Georgetown Technical Collage, Burroughs and Chapin Auditorium Conway Campus on the nights of Rivertown Bluegrass Society concerts. Concerts are always held on the third Saturday of each month. Workshops will begain at 3:pm and run through 4:30pm This hour and half will be broken up into 30 min. segments. This will allow each instructors to cover more than one instrument. If you want instructions more often, you can talk to the instructor at the concert about the times and price. These workshops are free only on the nights of the RBS concerts and you must purchase concert ticket for that night.
There will be no electric instruments allowed except the electric bass.
