Festivals And EventsReminder for the members of RBS
January, 17th 2009 Rivertown Bluegrass Society will it's annual winter festival. The national act for this festival will be the Bluegrass Brothers from Salem Virginia. Sharing the stage with the Bluegrass Brothers this year will be the Sounds Of Grass, and The Morris Brothers. What a show this is going to be!! So we want everyone to come and bring a friend, and help us to fill all the seats. The price of the tickets will not change from the regular concert price. $8.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members. Annual Valentines Cookout and Pickin February,14th 2009 we will have our annual RBS Valentines Cookout and Pickin. This event is open to the public. There will be a $10.00 charge this will cover every thing including your meal. So come on out and join us for a fun filled evening of food, fellowship, and Bluegrass Music. This event will be held at the Salem Methodist Church. Church is located about 4 miles off Hwy. 501 Business on Hwy. 90. for more information please call Mickey sellers at 843-457-2854 We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Everyone is invited. If you are thinking this is a private organization and you have no business there then you're wrong. We are a non-profit Bluegrass Society and we do have memberships. We welcome everyone to come and be with us each and every month. For just $10 for non-members you can see two of the best bands in bluegrass music each month. Also you can bring your instrument and join in on the jamming . Who knows you might like it well enough you might want to become a member yourself. AND EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!!
